From HWC 2010 Tournament Committee for all participating Teams!

Easter time brings, unfortunately, lots of chances in the HWC 2010 Tournament Game Schedule! Some teams left off at the last moment, and one team level of classification had to be changed. When the Tournament playing system changed, Tournament Committee had to make chances for a number of all participating team’s games. This big chance affects almost in all divisions’ and all teams’ round robin games as well as semi-, quarter- and final games.

As part of the team does not have an opportunity to arrive in Tampere on Tuesday, this causes changes in the game schedules. Now, in this final version, we have acquired compensatory game time on Thursday and Saturday.

We therefore recommend that ALL TEAMS check out: Game Days, Game Time and Arenas.

The biggest changes were made in the 45 + age group, where we had to combine the levels of GOLD and SILVER in one.  45+ BRONZE Div. needs to change because of the additional team.

There are also chances in series 40+ BRONZE Division and REC. 19+ SILVER Division because of two teams withdrew their participation in HWC Tournament.

We hope that we don’t need to make any changes on Tournament Schedule and this is the Final Version.

The tournament preparations have been continued steadily and certainly. While writing this entry there is 150 days to go before the tournament starts. That's about five months. It may seem like a long time, during which we have time to do a lot. Even though the preparations of HWC 2010 have continued over a year, sometimes it feels like we have missed something essential or forgot to do something.
